Saturday, September 4th, 8:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. —Hike the Winnebago and Hammer's Trails sponsored by the Green Team. Enjoy a walk on the trails in the two newest Conservancy Partnership Properties.  Walk both Hammer’s Trail (in the Assembly Creek and Springs Conservancy) and the historic Winnebago Trail along the shore of Green Lake (Winnebago Trail Preserve).  Both of these properties were purchased in 2009. 

Participants should meet at the Hammer’s Trail trail head, located a short distance southwest of the Tea House at the Green Lake Conference Center (at the corner of Hillside Rd and Log Cabin Rd).  There will be about 3+ miles of walking, encountering a few rolling hills and one relatively steep descent. Participants should bring their own water, snacks, good hiking shoes, and be ready to walk at 8:30.
