The event is to be held August 21st from 10am – 4pm on Mill St. in downtown Green Lake. The theme is ‘Life on the Lake’. For a $10.00 fee, chalk artists will receive a box of chalk pastels and will be turned loose onto a blank, 4 x 4 foot asphalt canvas. Registration takes place on the day of the event.

Prizes will be awarded in age categories of under five, 5-7, 8-15, 16 and over. Judging will take place at 4pm and the lucky winners in both children and adult categories will be taking home cash prizes for their creative efforts. Those competing I the category of professional artist will be vying for a different award of prestige: a feature article in the 2010 Green Lake Magazine.
