Green Lake offers fun for everyone in the family–young or old! Kids camps, zoo visits, and the annual fair provide endless excitement for families to enjoy together.

There’s always something happening at Town Square–our amazing community center in the center of town. A favorite place for kids and families, Town Square hosts kids camps throughout the summer, has a free play space for kids called the Hub, has a drop-in project center for artists, creators and builders of all ages, and hosts lots of community events and  monthly bingo.

Whether you’re in the mood for a quiet night out or a lively party, head to the 300 Club–Green Lake’s state of the art bowling center with 12 lanes. The 300 Club also has an arcade, pool tables, big-screen TVs and a variety of drinks, food and entertainment options.

Our local library provides many opportunities for the arts and entertainment. Catch an author’s lecture or enroll in one of the many classes or activities Caestecker Library offers all year long. They’re your source for books, movies, audio, fishing poles, free WiFi, meeting rooms and much more.

Pineapple Hill Orchard

Pineapple Hill Orchard is a small family apple orchard nestled in the quaint Green Lake countryside. The property includes lovely gardens and delicious apples! Come visit us in the fall just a few miles west of Green Lake. Owners Greg and Barb Becker specialize in growing high-quality fruit, including eleven varieties of apples in addition to plums and Concord grapes. Apple cider is also available in October.

Larson's Famous Clydesdales

Larson’s Famous Clydesdales is one of the few places in the United States where visitors can see these gentle giants up close and personal. Visit the ranch where these famous Clydesdales are truly a sight to see while being entertained for a half-hour, personalized guided tour where you can pet the baby Clydesdales, view the trucks, trailers, and harnesses, and visit the museum. Reservations are required.

Shamba Safari

Located in Neshkoro, just a short drive from Green Lake, this extraordinary zoo offers an immersive experience like no other. At Shamba Safari, you will encounter a diverse range of captivating wildlife–from towering giraffes and graceful gazelles to majestic Indian rhinos and regal big cats. Guests can purchase a $10 bucket of food, allowing them to feed and interact with the animals during their self-driven journey through the park.

A hometown favorite, the Green Lake County Fair takes place the first week in August at the Green Lake County Fairgrounds. Live music, animal shows, a demolition derby and tractor pull, carnival rides and games and other kids activities make this 4-day event one of the most fun Green Lake traditions you won’t want to miss.
